Cloud 9 team Particles

Cloud 9 works at the interface between architecture, art, digital processes and technological material development. Its multifaceted projects include stage designs, buildings, installations and patents, with special attention given to zero budget deviation and the efficient maintenance of buildings. All of them are realized together with collaborative partners.

Among the most outstanding projects are:

elBulli1846. Cap de Creus, 2021.
A Living Lab for chef Ferran Adrià.
CaixaForum Valencia. Valencia, 2022.
It achieved LEED Platinum sustainability certification and was selected as one of the best Creative Reuse buildings by the World Architecture Festival in 2023. TIME Magazine included it on its list of the “World’s 50 Most Extraordinary Destinations.”
Millennium Project. Valladolid, 2012.
An urban regeneration project awarded the 5 Green Leaves certification by the Green Building Council (GBC).
Media-TIC. Barcelona, 2011.
A A Net Zero building with a highly competitive construction cost, awarded World Building of the Year by the WAF in 2011.
Villa Nurbs. Empuriabrava, 2009.
An organically formed, ecological and futuristic house.

The commitment to the use of new technological developments and the performative character of architecture results in intelligent structures in emulation of nature and in a collection of patents as master pieces of digital fabrication.
